September,8. Ukrainian Katerina Bondarenko became Juniors open Semifinalist. She defeated Japan's Ryoko Fuda : 6-4 6-7(3) 7-6(4) in quarterfinal, but then she lost to eventual champion Kirsten Flipkens of Belgium. Katerina reached Juniors Grand Slam semifinal for the firts time in her career.

September,6. Yesterday 17-years-old Katerina Bondarenko has won two matches in a row at the Juniors US open. She beat Canadian Katarina Zoric in the Secon Round in straight sets: 6-4 6-4. Later Katerina defeated number 1 Seed Bethanie Mattek of the USA: 6-0 4-6 6-4 to reach her Second Juniors Grand Slam quarterfinal of the Year. Bondarenko who celebrated her 17th birthday last Month, now will face 12th Seed, Japan Ryoka Fuda in the quarterfinal. Ukrainian reached Juniors French open this spring. At the US open Katerina is 15th Seed. Recentely Bondarenko broke into the World's top 500 after she reached two straights ITF finals in Poland and Finland last month.
