Question: Dear
Andrey, I admire you as a player.
I would like to turn my son professional
player (he is seven,in Kiev ).What
steps should I take? I play a little
tennis myself. Would you recommend
taking him to the professional coach
,if yes which one in Kiev, or training
him myself (I have time to do that)
? What should I do to make him second
Andrey Medvedev? Thank you very much
|
|
Answer:Tennis
club Antey is where I learned how
to play tennis. I made there my first
tennis step and my last before leaving
for professional tennis. I recomend
it. Advise: to remind you, better
to be 1st, then second.

Question:,
hello andrei do you use msn wat are
some of your fave tennis sites what
players do u think are the worst sports
dont say none coz there is sum and
can u plz add me to your msn contacts
list plz email me when u get this
email. kisses joey
|
|
Answer: I dont
use the net to surf for tennis, since
i quit 2 years ago. Depending on your
own personality you can decide who
is bad sports. I hardly ever had a
problem with a player. Therefore,
the only accident that sticks out
of my mind is match against Borris
Becker at Wimbledon. I dont use msn,
sorry.

Question: Andrei,
I will never forget the first time
I saw you pay tennis here in Perth
( Australia) at the Hopman Cup. You
had a match against Michael stich
and you played some of the most awsome
tennis I had ever seen. I will never
forget how you took the time to talk
to people and you even gave a ball
boy your Tennis trainers, he was very
happy. I would like to say you have
been a great role model for all to
follow Andrei, someone to look up
to, well done mate!!!!! I have a two
Questions for you Andrei, what was
your most memorable match ? for me
it was the one you played against
Boris Becker at Wimbledon and lost
in the Fifth - you should have one
that one and maybe you could have
gone on to win Wimbledon that year.
Secondly you stopped coming to the
hopman cup why was that ? Andrei thankyou,
all the best for the future best Regards
Richard Place.
|
|
Answer: Hi Richard.
Thank you for the kind words. When
people are kind to you and warm, like
in Perth, you Want to take time and
talk to them. I alway liked coming
there and if my partner would be consistent,
I would probably still be coming there.
As for the match, probably the final
at Roland Garros in 1999 was the most
to remember... and forget.

I have not heard from them. When you
are going to be in New York, please
call me at. We can get together and
have some fun. Larry Nemiroff
|
|
Answer: Thanks
Larry. Quitting tennis was hard, but
having new exciting plans in life
are better to digest. Thanks for kind
words, when i come to ny, i'll give
you a call.
